This modified Piper J3L-65 is a new resident... haven't taken a good look at it yet, but it is very interesting.

Nice shots Sean...very nice... ;)

I do like that Piper J3L-65, wondering if it was an old Military Observation or Artillery Spotting Aircraft at one time.   :)

Piper thing is a L-4 me thinks

Very similar, but no, it's a J3L-65.

Neither. It's a "real" airplane; either a Cozy or a Vari-EZ. I'm not sure which (didn't note or photograph the reg, so I can't look it up).
