These are stationed right by where I work, so I see them every day.... but still cool to see them close up!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

The scariest bird in the air, as well as my favorite  8-)  Whoever had the idea of sticking a Howitzer out the side of a cargo plane is cool in my book.

It still amazes me that in these modern times, we still have gunships.  But I know several ground pounders, and they all say they love it knowing a gunship is overhead.  Its kinda of like a dark guardian angel.  Anything bad happens, it makes it go away.

That is so cool!
I always wondered what what happen if they decided to get rid of that old 105mm, and move up to the 120mm like on the M1A1/A2 Abrams? way more bank for the buck!

I don't even want to imagine the chaos that AC-130 could unleash. The videos of it inaction are very scary.

Nice that you got to see it up close.
