Swiss/Italian choppers III
Starting with the goodies:
We've seen the AS350s and EC135. Beside those two Air Zermatt operates a SA315B "Lama": a very strong single-engined helicopter developed to meet a requirement for hot and high operations - perfect for rescue and supply. You can often watch the Lama flying with a mounted up to 150m "longline" for recovery in rock faces, support to the Monte-Rosa-lodge with a net for goods or garbage or building material where ever it's needed.
E.g. the "Klein Matterhorn" cable car lift (Pic #7) - europe's highest cable car lift - was build mainly supported by this chopper.

What sort of helicopters do they use for air ambulance up there?
