Sad to see a couple go, although I prefer seeing 109 now going than sending 808 to Cosford. As you can see the spares recovery operation started pretty much as soon as they landed with 109 going on the jacks.
As for the low go around, as you'd have seen it was almost a low, slow flyby - brought about by a lack of up to date published airfield information I suspect.

Mind you, defence reviews permitting, hopefully we'll see the VC10s in the air for another 3-4 years yet.
