Swiss/Italian choppers II
Posted: Sat Apr 10, 2010 4:24 amHere we are: the new Air Zermatt EC135. Very trusty thanks to it's twin turbine - the kind of thing you wanna fly in nasty rescue conditions in the mountains: Wind, fog and the steep rock face of the Matterhorn - those chineese tourists seem to crawl everywhere...
Since it's mainly used as a rescue and med-evac, most of the freeriders are lifted by the AS350s though from time to time the EC135 is in duty for us, too. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to ride with it...
