Sentimental Journey

Postby BAW0343 » Fri Feb 19, 2010 12:34 am

Was driving home from class this afternoon sitting at a light getting ready to turn. All of a sudden I see this large prop plane fly overhead in a brilliant aluminum finish. I rushed to my dorm, grabbed my camera and forgot all about the test I was going to study for.

Some nice angles, so often trying to get the whole aircraft the pictures look flat and distant. These are good 8-)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

It's rare to see an amazing aircraft like this, let alone one that still regularly flies. It was certianly lucky.  8-)

She is a beautiful airplane.  She spent a week here about a year ago, giving tours and rides.  I almost got a ride in it, but the last empty seat got taken.

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

She is a beauty for sure. Wish I could see them flying more often, but I suppose that the rarity makes its special.

Thanks for the complements guys!
