Bridge identification!

Hello Chums... :)...

Can any Californian/Oregano identify the location of this bridge on the California/Oregon Pacific West Coast?

Looking South...>>>

Image

I think it appeared either in Flight Unlimited II/III, or the early versions of MS Flight Sims FS '98/2000,/2002?

I'm pretty sure that it carries the Coastal Route, Highway 1 (from Seattle to LA/San Diego).

I can remember Sim Flying over it many years ago but I'm not sure of its precise location now!

It suspect it will be in the wild Northern California/Oregon region.

Any ideas Maties?

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004... 8-)...!

10/10.... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]....

...and a big bag of Chocolate Cookies.... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

I was thinking of the "Big Sur" region past (Santa Barbara) at the time, but FS 2004 Flights don't show it any more.... :'(...!

...and it is on my favourite Highway 1 coastal touring route!

Many thanks....you found the one!

Paul....FS 2004 Happy Bunny!.... :)...!

I've Bookmarked the Page in my Flight Sims... ;)...!

A "Bixby Creek Bridge" search will locate it in Google Maps!

I have driven highway 1 from San Fransisco to LA. Two days of the most relaxing driving I have ever done. That bridge, for it's time is quite impressive.

Lucky you, Matt!

My favourite Sim Flying route from Seattle to Los Angeles following Highway 1, taking in some absolutely breath-taking scenery!

With Google street touring Map, you can drive over the bridge!

Fantastic!

Paul...lying on Santa Barbara Beach... :-*.... ;D...!

A similar Bridge in Nevada....>>>

Donner Summit Bridge, Truckee, Nevada,

I did omit one thing, that put a slight dampener on the whole trip. We had a hire car, a convertible. So roof down for the nice sedate coast trip. Wind in you hair.............and sun beating down on your head ALL day. At the end of the first day, it was very clear that the roof would stay up for the second day ;D

Paul, I can almost guarantee that you will find your bridge in question in this thread, on one of my fav other sites.......
Pashnit.com is a forum which combines motorcycles and photography.....what a fine mix, especially since it's based out of California..... 8-)
