Going through some old photos, came across these. I think Sean's been meaning to put up some pics of the man cave at 47N for a while now. So I'll just go ahead and do so. :P

Here's some of the goodies outside. (the beer machine is behind me in this pic)

An overview of the inside

Though the only wind we get is when someone lets one rip...

Tech-center. That big, Druid-looking thing is the communal ash tray. I have no idea what it's use was before. :P

One bonus, from a warmer day...

Haha, definitely a mans domain! Looks like a fun place.

Oh, and that ashtray looks to have been a piston at one time.

Uh-oh... you have desecrated the sanctity of the Man Cave!!
>:(
;D

Looks like you tidied up a little before taking the pictures...   ;D

The ashtray is an aircraft engine piston head!  ;)

Hi Guys,
This is Mike, the Tow Pilot from the Southside Glider Club. Now that you have seen the inner workings of "The Man Cave", you will have to stop by for a ride and a frosty cold beverage upon completion. I worked in this same office starting in 1973 when the flight school worked out of this same hanger. Many great memories happened from this hanger, as I'm sure they will for years to come.
Take care and Happy Holidays
Mike G
