So many terrific planes at Sky Manor Saturday, and i had a ball flying in the L19 and the Stearman... but for me, the highlight was seeing my first T8F

Luscombes are very popular in this country but I've never seen one of these before. Come to that I've never seen a photo of one.

You seem to be having lots of fun getting close up to all these beautiful rare aeroplanes. I'm quite jealous of your trip in the Stearman. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

When I heard about the raffle, I started hunting for pictures and info, and found very, very little. Still haven't found an image of the sprayer version, except for a drawing in the old operating handbook (which was done with pen-and-ink and a typewriter; a T8F owner graciously scanned it and made it available online as a pdf).
As I said, there are very few still flying- about the same number as B17s. Not sure if there are any in the UK, but I have heard of airworthy T8Fs in Canada and Australia.
