There's lots of comments on airliners from people saying they hate it.

A340 yes, C17 no.....good livery on the appropriate plane, but a non grey C17 looks wrong IMO

...I guess it's certainly different.

Nice pictures of it though......

I agree with Mic. I've seen so many grey C-17s that it just doesn't look right!

UAE is the next customer. So I wonder if theirs will be painted in there livery?

Darn that looks good! Always liked Quatar's livery and it's even more special on this C-17!

Up close it looks amazing. even at night when it was leaving it slowed every thing down at the base and the air port, because every one was trying to get a look at it.

I'm not entirely sure this one could be entirely classed as civilian (particularly having seen the colour of Qatar's first). I suspect there may be a little shady area in the rules concerning government operated (essentially) military aeroplanes using the national carriers colours.

I like it. Nice to see it something other than the usual AF gray. Wonder how it would look in UPS or FedEx colors. :-?
