..... ;D....!

Expensive damage to a Yamaha R1...Fatal damage to a Bird of Prey!

I know the feeling!... :o... :o....!

We often get hit on the chest with various Birds*, flitting from hedge to hedge across the road, whilst riding our Bikes, especially Owls, at night-time...

It takes the wind out of you for a while!... :o..!

Paul...G-BPLF....Brmmm...brmmm.... 8-)...!

* ...unfortunately..only the "feathered" variety... :'(...!

Ran over a small dog with my motorbike once. Instant roadkill. Owner wasn't too happy since she saw it happen. Hit a few rabbits with my car too.

Crash ;) (killer of millions of bugs and small furry animals)

I managed to come face to face with a large bumblebee this summer, at 60mph.  It was at this point that I started to think a full face helmet might not be a bad idea.

The lack of any frontal protection on my bike makes me worry about stuff like the above pic. :-/

Not to mention your rugged good looks being effected as you come off your bike and are catapulted down the road on your face as the back of your helmet enjoys the view of the sky. Still at least you can use the helmet again ;D
