There are routinely queues longer than that to get into the vatican in Rome (why I don't know

)
For the last few days there's been a 6 hour queue to get into the Banksy exhibition at Bristol Museum

Footballwise I think I've stood in a longer queue waiting to watch Torquay play York City.....(Torquay don't open the turnstiles until 20 mins before kick off

)

I was in a 3 hour long queue simply to get into the Van Gough Musuem, Amsterdam during a school trip. We actually spent more time in the queue than we did in the museum.

You should try for tickets for the White House or The Empire State Building. Then you will realise just how short that queue really is

That isn't a queue. If you want to experience a REAL queue then I'll invite you to one of my extended family weddings..
There's always such a long queue they arrange the buffet food tables in a zig-zag fashion, much akin to waiting to get on a ride at a theme park.
The last one I was at the queue was so long that they'd run out of cheese and pineapple on sticks by the time I had the chance to fill my paper plate.
I'm not joking.

I've seen much longer queues than that.
The longest one I've ever been was in March... Iron Maiden concert here in Lima. About 10 hours. It was worth it!

I was in queue only for about 20 minutes for the Empire State Building

It was a two hour queue for the Eiffel Tower when I went to Paris. All that to stand on a massive tower of scaffolding!

It's pretty trying for patience when you're in a 3 hour queue for a rollercoaster... only to find it's not working anymore.

We went to an outdoor rock concert three years ago and suddenly the urge to pee hit me, very quickly, building to urgent bladder shattering pain. 3000 people, 7 outhouses. around 70 ladies in line in front of me. Yellow tears oozing out of my eyes. No trees in sight. Cops and security every where. When I finally got to the throne, I could hear two girls outside saying,

Back in college, a group of 4 of us would wait in line for season hockey tickets, and they were first come, first serve and you got to choose your seats, so there was quite a line for that. The longest our group stood in line was my junior year when we waited in line for 3 days, each of us doing 8 hour shifts.
