I caught the bus into Chichester this morning to get a peek at the Peregrine chicks at the Cathedral.

Here's a shot of the the Cathedral from the Bishop's Garden. Those darned wheelie bins get everywhere. The nest is on the turret at far right of the tower.

The chicks have been taking flying lessons. They're getting rather good at it. Anyone watching Springwatch on BBC1 on Monday will have seen their first flights.
This is the male practising his attack tactics on one of his sisters. Look out behind you!

The obligatory aircraft shot. This flew directly overhead while all this was going on.

These shots were taken at the extreme range of my lens but I'm rather pleased with them. When I returned home I discovered I'd left my wallet on the bus which put a damper on a nice day out. ::)
