Forgot I had these on the memory card ..... they are a couple of weeks old.

This Robinson R44 made lots of noise ........ circled the area several times ...... making even more noise ......so I grabbed the camera and took these.

Tis a rather tight spot between overhead power lines, bushes and trees and not suitable for a landing as it has a 20 degree slope and too much debris on the ground.

Just caught it in the hover ...... the guy in the door seemed to be dropping something but I couldn't catch what it was from quarter of a mile away.


For some reason the flash went off ...... I think they realised they had been photographed and  disappeared rapidly.








I still haven't got a clue what was going on

The guy in the door seems to be wearing what looks like a police uniform...

Although why the police would be in a civilian helicopter, I don't know. :-/

It was a drug drop Andy! If you'd have been a bit quicker you might have been able to grab a bag or 2 of cocaine... and made yourself a few quid!
