This was my first time out spotting at an international airport, and with a DSLR, but what do you think?

Thanks, I was using the Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Telephoto Zoom Lens

Good Job, alot of fun, isn't it. I wish I could get some time to go spotting!!!!!!!  Mark  
As far as Suggestions, try cropping the shots.

Like Mark said crop them and download Irfanview if you don't have it yet.  I like Irfanview using for sharpening my shots.
