While at the kaagbaan (06) we saw some great incoming traffic on 36R so we headed there and found ourselves a stunning place ( except for the sun on that time of day) so on went the photo's

Of course all of the really nice heavies.... landed back at 06 :(

anyway, now for the shots!

All was well

after this one it remained quiet for a bit so we headed back to the car.... and saw a police van ( marechaussee to be exact) near it

And then the trouble started......

Apperantly.... where we stood was a construction site and there used to be fences and we were trespassing on the official landing grounds.... a call went out to all police in the area that 4 men were on the landing grounds... we were behind a small hill.... and couldn't be seen directly.... in no time there were 5 squad cars on the parking lot....  ;D after we all had a talk and id's were checked we were free to go again... we had a bit of a laugh with the officers and had a nice talk in general.... one of them called this one of the most vague dispatches they ever had.... another one asked me how the eos was for photographing women..... all ended well eventually but it was still weird being surrounded by 5 squad cars ( and standing next to a prisoner holding facility)

While talking to the officers I was actually allowed to take some shots so that is why I also end this thread with a queen!  ;D ;D

Was a lol experience in the end! Kudos to the officers!

Ouch... annoying encounter... luckely the cops in Holland have a sense of humour. Not your fault really, if there are no fences, you couldn't have known...

Yes, some people are paranoid about anyone around an airfield and will call the police at the drop of a hat.

That was the airport's fault for having no fencing.  Jeez, TSA would have us in no time if we had a section of fence down.
