Hi All,

Currently i have a Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm lens, and i am looking to save up for a longer lens. Trouble is i am not sure which to go for, i have singled out the following two:


Nikon 55-200mm


Tamron 70-300mm

I really like the prospect of the VR ability on the Nikon lens, but would prefer the longer (300mm) Tamron. Ignore the prices at Jessops as i would most likely search around to find them cheaper

Any thoughts, especially in terms of quality?
