Coming out of the woodwork.

Went for a short x-c from SMQ to RDG (no pics, sorry) this morning for breakfast, then spent an hour or so at Sky Manor.

I saw a few planes that I never had before, all based at N40. Odd.

This Pacer sure livened up my day!

New one on me. Urban Air UFM-13 Lambada Motorglider. Took up most of the runway.

Best shot I could get of this Stearman. There were many little kids running around my feet, so I had to keep dodging them as not to squish them. :P

More a little later.

Springtime... when the lesser-spotted birds all air out their wings... ;D

You picked a good day- that's a great mix.  Too bad about the nosewheel on that RV, though... sigh...  ;D

Nice one James. I haven't taken many aircraft photos so far this year.

That second one looks like an Aeronca or a Cub...??

Looks like a Bellanca Decathlon to me.

I'm not much good with those threshing machines. How about a Robinson R22? We get plenty of them buzzing around at Shoreham.

Doug's got it. A Super Deke and an R22, respectively. Both are royal pains in the backside when it comes time to enter the pattern. The Decathlon driver doesn't like to use his radio (even on busy days like yesterday) and the new helo school with that R22 likes to take his sweet time after turning base to final to get to the threshold. He can stop in mid-air. I can't. ;D Eh, what can you do.

It does look goofy, dunnit? There were lots of -4's and -8's out and about, but the CF card can only hold so many. :P
