When to the local cevicheria today...


Got some mixed ceviche (fish and shrimp 'cooked' in lime juice), plantain chips, some avocado, a small 'milk of the tiger' or the spicy liquid run-off from making ceviche (this will burn your mouth, and probably eat through the table if you spill it ).

The cevicheria is at a huge indoor South American market called Plaza Fiesta, its just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. It's not to hard to make ceviche so I'll give it a go one of these days, here is a link Alonso posted on how to make it...

In Spanish, punta is point. As in Punta Galapagos as said before. Can even be used to describe for example, the "tip" on a pen. Me thinks you may have heard the word punta... without the "n" in it. This word would be offensive to many people.

Your description seems to have more to do with music/dancing styles.

There are different kinds of ceviche... this one looks ecuatorian or mexican....

Gotta try my recipe, though!
