A couple of interesting visitors today....the KC135 stayed for a few circuits and a flight of 6 Armee de l'air alphajets landed for a nightstop....highlight of an otherwise dull and quiet day (no tonka movements )



For those who haven't guessed it's RAF Leuchars...home of the Tornado F3

More shots to come tomorrow...but right now I'm knackered (flew up yesterday morning, flew back this evening )

Nice catch on the QRA loaded bird, was it an actual QRA launch?

Did the Alphas park in the usual VAS site?

Nice to see FE still carrying it's XXV hawk emblem, still there in spirit eh?

Seems like the opportunities to see F3's may run out fairly soon

Not sure....but he kept his burner on for ages....(normally take them off when they're overhead)

Yep...all 6 alphas parked up on the visiting apron
