Excellent Photo's, both sets, Brett....

I immediately fired up my trusty copy of FS 2004, (as I always do on such occasions), and filed a flight plan from KPMH to PBX, via K22 in my Beech Baron, and I must say, your scenery was a vast improvement on mine!... :'(...!

Where did the bleedin' mountains go?... :o.... :o...!

Keep on going, Paul.. it's still pretty flat in Kentucky....  VJI (where we spent the night), and GEV are IN the mountains.. MSFS doesn't respect this area as much as it does the Pacific NW (and northern California).. but the mountains are there.. just not as pretty..

I'm firmly convinced that the MSFS scenery designers all lived in California (Silicon Valley?).

The Cal and Oregon Scenery is the most faithfully represented of all the scenery I have visited in the Sim, comparing it with all my detailed California/Oregon Relief Maps....

...which is the reason why I continue to daily "fly" around the familiar area for the past 10+ years... :)...!

It always feels like "Home"... :)...!

Excellent pictures.  I was just down to Bristol, TN a few weeks ago and it's beautiful down there, even more so from the air I would imagine.
