Just a few weeks ago, I went down to Portland, Oregon to visit a couple close friends of mine. They are both really into photography also, so one evening, we went into the city to do some night photography. Here are a few of the photos I took with my camera

I remember awhile back when ken experimented with this 'ghost' effect, so we messed around with it and came up with some cool photos.

As you can see, Me, Myself, and I all had a great time.... ;D

One of the many bridges in Portland. I wanted to catch more of the train, but only got the tail end of it on the right side.

Hope you liked them. As you can see, i'm really enjoying my new camera.... 8-)

Thanks guys, glad you like them

I must have a horrible eye, but they don't really look crooked to me, except maybe the first one... :-?

Hi Andrew... :)

Good looking shots especially the 2nd one with the water reflection and would love to see the workings of that lift bridge in person in your last shot. Nice.

Who is the gangster looking character in those shots...oops did I type that...going down to my bunker now.

You're doing well Andrew..........time and practice are all it takes to learn about photography.......nothing really special at all.......it surely doesn't hurt to have beginner enthusiasm too........nice evening of "light" photography !

Oh yeah, I support you on the "off level" shots.......any time you shoot obliquely at a scenery you will have this apparent effect. Your images of looking up or down the river make the far bank appear to be "crooked", but the reality is that the vertical lines in those shots will show that the camera was square to the horizontal..........well done  ;D

The reflection of the skyline on the second shot is very nice
