A good use for a gorilla-pod

Just has my 17th - got this really cool new bit of camera gear that i thought i'd show off here. Its called a gorillapod and in essence it's a very very flexible tripod that can attach itself to most places. I thought i'd try it as a platform to take photos whilst riding my bike.

It may look slapdash but it was surprisingly stable and still moveable whilst riding

Now run in video mode and see how it makes you feel, on a day when the weather keeps you indoors and you can re-live a ride........

Been looking at getting one of these cunning contraptions. Haven't managed yet to prise the money out of my wallet, but they're very clever!

Nice bike BTW, I used to race a GT Avalanche myself, albeit an older one than that.

Thanks, yeah its a good, realiable machine. Planning some long ride on it soon to really test it ( more photos  ;) ::) ::) ) !

I have one and used it on my digital rebel.  It works great as long as you have a lightweight lens.

One word of advice:  Be gentle, they break easily
