That's actually a very good stab...you sailors wouldn't know anything about that  ;)  It does resemble a round comin down a rifle barrel, however getting that shot would require some pretty high tech equipment  ;D

I think it's a juicer in the dark  :D

Is it a some sort of vanilla/chocolate icecream swirl? Looks like a dessert of some sort.

Wow, tell me how you got the shot! That's cool!  I'd like to get one down the barrel of my service rifle at work...

...macros lens and directional light at 45 degrees in from the breach...the rest is just steady hands and good eye for focus ;)

...the bullet looking thing is actually the bolt (incredibly out of focus), Couldn't figure out how to take it out :P

Be sure the safety's on first. Leave it to a marine to put a round through a camera lens.

Funny thing about that, that Marlin is so old, it doesn't have a real safety...

...its got a half cock safety that's not exactly useful...or, just in fact, "safe".

...don't load a round into the chamber and you should be fine ;)

Well on Truck's service weapon, I'd imagine it'd have a safety. :P

Indeed, our service rifle (the new M-16A4) definately has a safety lol and yes it would be on safe, as well as me (weapons safety rule number one...treat every Marine as if he were loaded lol)

Weapons safety rule number two...treat every weapon as if it were loaded  8-)

Well done Storm, I'll have to see if I can achieve this shot..every cool!

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
