Just one quick wintry scene.....we hardly had enough snow to make it worthwhile, but I needed to get this one while I could.

The new 10-22 exacerbated the converging verticals somewhat, but I had a go at fixing it in Photoshop, what do you think of the repair work?

Tis very nice ...... I would have left more of the colouring and contrast on the church though just for definition.

Did you find what you were looking for while you were there?

I really like that image, and your fixed version is a definite improvement.

The only issue that really struck me in the revised version was the way your edges have been cropped a little too severly, you've lost the edge of the headstone on the left and the column on the right (although that actually helps).

Probably an illusion but it looks to me that you went a tad too far the other way with it. It's all a matter of taste but I like to see some perspective with this sort of shot. More how it looks in real life with the Mk I eyeball.

I follow Doug. Somehow the tower looks to long in the second shot...

I don't mind the perspecive. Just lighten the picture up a bit and ad some sharpening to it and it's perfect!

i think that the first photo certainly needs some work, as I feel like I'm falling over backwards when I look at it, but in the second I think that Doug is right and I have over cooked the effect.

The tower begins to look square, when it does in fact taper towards the top as you can see in the first photo. Also the tool has stretched the spire as pointed out by Kris, so that the proportions of the spire and tower are slightly out.

All in all though I was quite pleased with the result, I just need to use it more wisely, a little more reading up required I think  ;)
