I have no clue which forum to put this is in ..... :-/

I was researching some old postcards for my mother-in-laws boyfriend and happened to spot this old postcard picture of the Buffalo Airport. Judging by the aircraft, it's way back....lol

I thought some of the aviation buffs and old timers might get a kick out of this.... ;)

Convair 440s? Nice. I like historic airports. A bit of that old fashioned romance of air travel...

...which leads me to today's film recommendation:

Out of the Clouds

Heathrow (London) Airport at its uncluttered best, and Boeing Strats and Connies galore! :)

I had to chuckle at the "Kodachrome" and "Curteichcolor" references.

I've been hearing that darn song in my head all afternoon....Kodachrome..... ::)

Holy Crap!  Thats the really old terminal!!!  I was only in it once when I was younger before they built the new terminal.  I'm no sure if the west terminal was even built then... then again that thing in the back looks like it...  AA doesn't even opperate mainline aircraft here anymore!  You can tell how old this is because KB21 isn't there anymore It's now KBUF.

:'( I miss the east terminal because it was so nice before they knocked it down.  This picture really brings me back.  I wonder if Flying Tigers was around then... ::)
