A selection from a very frosty Slimbridge today.....most taken from the Kingfisher hide....

The pair of woodpeckers was one of the highlights of the day....

It also taught me the disadvantage of L lenses......they get bloody cold when the weather's bad

I hope you got written consent from those birds mic. before plastering them all over the internet. I would hate to have the RSPB on your doorstep saying you have infringed there rights to a private life
