Seriously, lovely pics of our native birds. The Robin is actually quite an inquisitive and friendly bird. We had one in our old garden that used to sit on our fence for ages, he was very friendly and would occasionallly pop to the table and look through our window. :)

Sweet looking shots! For some reasons birds love to be around airfields! Yesterday a whole swarm flew over the hanger just before the C-182 would taxi to the maintenance hanger, wish i could have photographed it, our pilot was just walking towards the plane when the swarm flew by..

Wow, stunning work Doug. How did you get so close to these creatures? I can't get close enough to take such wonderful shots. You in a small tent near a feeder?

Thanks Kris. The birds aren't tame but they're used to human behaviour. They have to be as the feeder is in a busy area right opposite the clubhouse with noisy motorbikes & people coming & going all the time. I used my long lens on full zoom for these but could probably get a lot closer.
