Well since you're all so cold with minus temps. here's some warm pics taken from around the place.

Taken near my work up in the Pilbara. Temperature was already hitting 35 degrees C, thats nearly a hundred, by 7am, which was when i took this pic
Image

First day out on the new boat cruising the swan river, looking toward Kings Park in the distance. Outside temp, 21 degrees C.

Wellington Dam near Collie 2hours south of Perth.

RAC rescue helicopter near Rockingham, just south of Garden Island

Only visit from the new A380 at Perth International in October. Here, seen with its younger sibling, the A330 which is taxiing away from the international Terminal

Me with my shiny new tent i bought the other day. I'm going camping on boxing day for 4 days. Heading east to a place called Hyden 4hours away where there is a great rock formation known as wave rock. Then heading down to the south coast past Albany, to the Stirling Ranges National Park, and the Valley of the Giants, where there is a magnificent Tree top walk 34m up.

Looks like you're living the good life!  Love that Jolly Roger on the front of your boat, and that's a damn fine tent you got there, looks like you're enjoying a cold one after setting it up?   8-)

Nice pictures I'm warmer already. ;D The 1st one is excellent. As far as the camping, I would leave the tent right where its at, the beer is right inside the house.  ;D Mark

yeah its summer here. In Perth it can get from 25-45 depending on the day. Christmas day is normally about 25-35 degrees.

Big Truck that is a cold one in my hand, and for the record, All australians hate Fosters. Tastes like cats p$ss. I've got some pics of wave rock from last year, but i'll wait till i get back because i'm going to try some sunset ones and get some other colours in there as well.

The A380 came to Perth for about 4hours on a promotional visit. Spent the entire day at the airport, got a great spot to see it land and takeoff. Had many requests from nearby people for my photos.

Lol The pic of the tent in the backyard was jsut after i had first set it up out the box. Good old Tooheys extra dry in my hand.

A1, the first shot of the gorge, is the first time we have ever seen it that still. Rottnest Island i havent been to in years, but i have a mate that just went over and camped there for teh weekend. I'll see if i can find some

And Anxyous, I'm not looking to be popular, tis the season for giving and all that you know. I see the pics of the snow and such, and feel for oyu lot up there.

Wonderful shots Glenn...very nice... :)

Love to get to Australia and Great Britain, everyone in the family has either been stationed in both spots or been there half a dozen times.

I have always been an old home body and once I retired from flying you couldn't get me out of the driveway come hell or high water.

Yeah I know Aussies hate Fosters (I hate it too), I been there a few times and made that mistake of asking one of the locals about Fosters, nearly got my butt kicked  :D

The helicopter is a rescue helicopter, not associated with the coast guard. Sponsored by the Royal Automobile Club of WA. And the jolly roger on the boat......well why not? Its a bit of fun
