Spotting KAGC - 12/3/08

Had a change the take some pictures before I got my 2nd ride with Matt. We got to the airport early, so I took pictures while he filed his flight plan. Enjoy, Mark

If I'm not wrong some of those are the Citation. I got the privelege of watching one take off. At 50 yards ( Right angle to the runway ) I saw the pilot taxi to his hold position on the runway and the flaps were dropping as he taxied. It seems he had the brakes on as the engines wound to a high pitch. The pilot released the brake, the Citation took off like a shot, using only one quarter of the available runway. I watched in awe as this private aircraft disappeared into the clouds!   :)
