Congrats on the new camera, it should bring you lots of joy! Start reading about the basics and in no time you'll be experimenting like a madman...
www.photozone.de is a good source for lens-reviews, as this will probably be your next purchase... ;)
And don't forget to show us some of your work!

Very nice snag, and at a decent price too. It won't be long until you're drooling over extra lenses, trust me.

Check on e-Bay for spare batteries -
1700mah BLM-1 is available now for the Olympus cameras and you may find them to be satisfactory......both Wendy and I have two extras each, and along with high speed CF cards, you can also get 2 gig xD cards to give you 4 gig in the camera. Never get caught short of memory or power. Either of which will end the days shooting immediately.

You'll need to convert the raw-file into a jpeg-file before you can unleash photoshop elements upon it. You should have received a program with your cam to do that.
I use raw during my concert work, so I can adjust whitebalance, sharpness, birghtness, contrast, etc in raw-format. Then I convert the pictures into Jpeg-format and resize them using photoshop elements + some sharpening (Unsharpmask or sharpning) after the resizing...
Be aware that raw-files eat memory. On a typical concertshoot I'll use about 6 to 8 Gb of memory ( 400 - 500 pictures)
During airshows I use jpeg, so I can put many, many more shots on my total of 8 Gb cards...
I tend to use raw in low-light conditions and the more demanding shots, Jpeg when shooting in daylight or if I need lots of shots in a row. Jpeg-files are smaller, so they are written faster to the CF-card..
Cheers,
Omag
