Some may have wondered where I got my screen name. Well, here it goes. My name is Rob, I own a 2001 VW GTI. Therefore, my name is gtirob01. Ok, enough of that, on to some pics.

I didn't know they were selling VW Golfs in the US! Nice car, but the big engine would be a hefty cost here in Belgium...  ;)

Yup... I use almost exclusively meguiars products. When I moved from California to Florida, I left my dad with probably about 15-20 bottles of different meguiars items. I got most of it free from entering car shows tho.

Nice job on the car! Looks good!!! Though I think the IV-series GTI is the worst that VW released: it's just another version with a powerful engine - not comparable to the primary Golf-GTI I to III. They improofed this deficit with the V-series, where it's again an independant car. Nonetheless I drive a IV-Golf myself - though no GTI; the station wagon...  ;)

btw: is this a german licence-plate (Berlin) in the first pic?!?  :-?

Yeah they really are the best i think, ive used them on several cars now and the results are stunning. I did enter a couple of shows, but i didnt win anything, let alone any polish

Oh no, I bought it here in the states. But nearly all the Golfs we get are built in Brazil now. I was lucky enough to get a MK4 that was made in Germany!
