Kemble Open Day - Preview
I'm so glad the Great Vintage Flying Weekend has been saved. It was wonderful to have 6 or 7 aircraft in the circuit at times despite the misty weather. We even had an interesting simultaneous approach onto the grass and concrete by a Pembroke and a Cub
The static Red Arrows Gnat that lives next to the tower. It's to commemorate the years that the Red Arrows spent based at Kemble.

Kemble's Tower......
And the view from the top.....had a lovely tour from one of the controllers
note the dragon rapide landing 8-) 8-)
The line up of the airpark which had stayed overnight taken from the tower.....sonn afterwards (after the fog had lifted) it filled up rapidly.
Where the controller lives.....managed to get an idea of everything that was coming in thanks to the board mechanism they use
The AA DC3 put in a uh hum *spirited* performance yet again.....this hasn't been rotated or cropped in any way
After the CAA investigation for the crowd violation during Abingdon I dread to think what's going to happen now.....but it was a sight to behold 8-)
A friendly atmosphere all round....Peter Holloway waves to the small crowd as he taxies back to the ramp.
