60 years 15th wing at Melsbroek

Today was a special day for the 15th Wing of the Belgian airforce (transportation & relay wing), as they celebrate their 60 th birthday...

Time to put the trusty workhorse, called Hercules C-130 in the spotlight...

Just to be sure the public knew what the fuss was about!

Melsbroek is a part of Zaventem (EBBR), Brussels airport. Funny feeling to see an airevent at an active airport....

What a lovely tail :)

I love these small events....they have so much more character.....thanks for taking us along Kris (I also reserve a special place for the herk, it being the nearest based RAF unit :) )
