Last day of August at 47N- pt 2

I may have posted pics of this Bone and Twin Bone in the past, but... what the heck, these are pretty good images...

This Skyhawk was returning from a test flight: it's not very clear here, but there is a tube mounted on the right wing strut, for the purpose of dispersing ashes. A long-time denizen of the airport passed away recently after a long illness, and some of the airport bums organized a little sendoff Sunday, complete with a "missing man" flyby over the field and a flyby with the ash drop over the departed airman's home nearby.
The test went well; not sure how well it worked with the ashes.

They did something similar at Popham for my old mate Cecil recently. Unfortunately I messed up the shots. So it seems did everyone else. Old Cec had the last laugh on us. :)
