Last day of August at 47N- pt 2
I may have posted pics of this Bone and Twin Bone in the past, but... what the heck, these are pretty good images...

This thirsty Cessna 421 stopped by for a drink...

As did this Cozy (?).

This Skyhawk was returning from a test flight: it's not very clear here, but there is a tube mounted on the right wing strut, for the purpose of dispersing ashes. A long-time denizen of the airport passed away recently after a long illness, and some of the airport bums organized a little sendoff Sunday, complete with a "missing man" flyby over the field and a flyby with the ash drop over the departed airman's home nearby.
The test went well; not sure how well it worked with the ashes.

This terrific Yak would be part of the proceedings...

Next: a fitting goodbye
