RAFA show 2008
Mic & Jake brought some good weather with them to Shoreham for a lovely day on Saturday. I've never had much luck with the camera during the show so decided to leave the reporting to them. While we're waiting here's a few they might not have got.
Private Walker, Corporal Jones & Captain Mainwaring overseeing the proceedings.

A welcome return for "goose man" Christian Moullec, this time with his cranes. Fascinating.

The tiny Cassutt F1 pylon racers led by Peter Grace in G-BOMB

Always a favourite with the crowd. The Guinot team has 5 aircraft this year. They tell me they enjoy it but I think these girls are very brave. Very pretty too.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. A classic view of the RAF Hercules touching down with Lancing College Chapel as a backdrop. Don't let anyone try to tell you the C-130 is the largest aircraft ever to land at Shoreham. We had a Blackburn Beverley at the show here 49 years ago almost to the day. That was long before the hard runway was built.

In case you missed it in the Cafe. These are the two reprobates I finally had the pleasure of meeting.
