They use the King Airs to test instrument approaches.  They flight test our ILS about twice a year.

Good shots, I like that Aero Commander.

Funny story- my aunt works for the FAA at Wiley Post dispatching these aircraft whenever an instrament approach is not working.  One day during my flight training 2 years ago she dispatched a King Air to Jabara where I fly and work and told the pilots to get out and ask for me in a very serious manner.  Nonetheless my co-wokers, flight instructor, and boss were all quite concerned that I was a fugitive from the FAA.  The pilot told them that it was a prank, but since I was not working or flying at the time, they were going to keep the prank going by calling me during a morning class. ;D ;D ;D
