Gatwick - Aalborg

Over sunny sussex
descending over the Limfjord
Landing at AAL. Note the military apron in the background. Aalborg is home to the RDAF transport fleet. (Hercules and C604s) as well as an F16 maintenece facility. Over the week I saw quite a few C130s and heard a lot of loud jet aircraft (presumably F16s) but only caught sight of small grey specs over the sea
A nice long walk from the plane to the arrivals hall with a single baggage belt.
These guys kept going up and jumping out of their plane....Aalborg is so quiet that parachuting is quite a popular use of the airfield......if a plane is coming in, they have to wait for the parachutists to land.
