Airventure '08

After checking out the Cirrus booth (to try to see the weather on one of the glass panels), I headed to AeroShell Square to check out one of my favorite aircraft, the T-6 Texan II...
The pilots let people climb up on the wing to take a look in the cockpit (but they didn't let you get in, as some idiot found out when he tried to climb in
)...
The Rocket Racing League aircraft made their debut and flew earlier in the week and are flying again today and tomorrow, but didn't fly yesterday
...
One of the F-16s from here in Madison had a special tail flash for the 60th anniversary and the ground crew did a JDAM assembly demonstration.
