Wow, that Ch53 is huge, didn't appreciate it size, thought they were joking when they said the crew wanted to check the site for space! and to think, a few of us had to turn ourselves away from a small landing helicopter because he picked a decidedly dry bit of grass/sand and threw sand all over the camera and its enclosure.
I have to agree with you there mic, that german airforce livery was rather nice, makes a change from drab military colours. And the crew were nice and friendly too...

It looks like the only proper show I'll see this year now is Southport.

To be fair this is a short bus ride away from me, and isn't exactly an airshow....more of a fly-in.....in which not a lot flys in

That Sea King is quite busy... he's at Culdrose next Wednesday. Was a German Lynx there too?
