Yeovilton Air Day 08 - Display Teams
Posted: Sun Jul 06, 2008 7:16 pmJust a few pics of the Display Teams who flew that day...the BBMF were set to appear, but due to the weather they decided against it. However, the display teams that did fly were fantastic!
The local display team, the Black Cats, flying two Navy Lynx's. Always a fun display by these chaps

One of the many crossovers, rather close!
The arrival of the FRA Falcons and Hawks, we didn't stay to see their display so no photos of that, but here's the team arriving.
Team Guint wingwalkers, a good barnstorming show by the team!
Another of Team Guinot...
These chaps were absolutely insane. There was a strong 25 knot crosswind consistently throughout the day, yet this didn't put off the Royal Artillery Parachute Display Team jumping out of a Lynx helicopter and displaying!
And I thought the parachutists were insane, well, Guy Westgate and the Swift display team were even more insane. Guy Westgate certainly knew what he was doing with his sailplane, it was a stunning display!
