An afternoon with a friend at 47N (rhyme!)
I met up with Sean down at Central Jersey Rgl. this afternoon... or... "Kupper", as many old-timers prefer.
Overall a great day with the guys at the gliding club, topped off with a hot meatball sub from the Italian restaurant down the way. The weather was iffy all day with two isolated t'storms which fortunately occurred after gliding ops stopped. Sean can tell you all why that happened.
We'll start things off with this good-looking 150 "Commuter". Just out of curiosity, I looked up the reg. and came back with a build date of 1963. Kudos to whoever keeps this beaut operating.

Bit of a crosswind all day.

"Matilda"

The army was in town for lunch.

And finally. Our cursed glider-wannabe.

I'll let Sean take the stage now.
