Robin Hood Airport, today
Posted: Wed Jun 18, 2008 12:01 pmVentured here today to pick up some people i dropped of last week. Armed with new info on were to park up for some pictures, i hoped for somthing interesting! Alas, nothing really interesting, and although the road looks close its seemingly miles away - and i didnt have the right lense on my Nikon!!! Bah! So these are from my Sony Cybershot, through a fence, from quite a distance, so although not super close, im quite pleased with them.
All that happened during the hour and a half i was present - 2 Thomson 737's and the one i was waiting for, a Flybe....er whatever it is....it arrived last and its origin was Jersey...
Had they been coming in from the other end of the runway i could have had some corking shots as i discoverd a pull in right at the begining of the runway! But they wernt, so i couldnt
