APU change 737-800

Time for another maintenance "show and tell" from your resident spanner monkey. If you ever wondered how to change an APU, well it involves a small amount of blood lost, a few pints of sweat and about 3 hours. Still, it was better than being out on the ramp last night. It was rather cold and very windy.

I like these shots, but they always give me that "what if they miss a tiny little part"-feeling... it all looks so fragile...

I like these shots, but they always give me that "what if they miss a tiny little part"-feeling... it all looks so fragile...  8-)



Don't worry, we have an old box on the office table that we put left over parts in. If one of us then has a moment of clarity, then we can rummage about. Also works in reverse if we lose a bit....................... ;D ;D

True, but one of those APU's could buy you a fleet of hotrods  8-)
