Not much of a photo, but a nice taste of what this was all about... unfortunately the other in-flight shots I got are not much better. Hot and hazy, high sun,two runways in use, faraway displays... and I was using the new p&s camera (Canon SD1100), which is quite nice but only does 3X optical zoom.
Plus it's so new to me that I was reading the manual on the shuttle bus from the parking lot to the show grounds- LOL!! ::)

But I like this shot- it's a helluva moment, at any rate.

I have a feeling looking at these now that I didn't quite know what I was doing with that camera. ;D

But it was a great show, and I got some better-quality statics, etc... and the video (with the Panasonic camcorder)... some yummy video, I think.  :)

I think I need a staff- I still have tapes from Airventure 2007 that I haven't captured, let alone edited, let alone formatted...  ::)
But eventually...

I can be hired out for a very affordable rate. One fifteen-minute-per-hour break to spot EWR traffic up on your porch, an hour-long nap with Peg (at my discretion), and a salami, lettuce and provolone on rye. Extra mustard, hold the mayo.

:)
