Well, the day did not start off on an auspicious note: had a very thorough blow-out on the highway on my way there. No biggie, it was the rear wheel and I was in the outside lane in light traffic.
But looky dat: blew from bead to bead! Sounded like a shotgun blast, and I'm real glad it didn't come right off my alloy rim before I could slow down.
Maybe this will teach me to stop buying cheap used tires... new tires all around this summer, especially if I'm going to Airventure in this heap.

     


But I got there eventually... and didn't miss a thing. Today was the rain date for the show, so it was not crowded at all... maybe 100 people. Somehow they all managed to get into my pictures... but I got a few good ones.


     



The weather blustered, but it was still within limits, so the show went on.

That Luscombe looks good from afar........hope you got more of that one too..........

I can't wait to see these shots, bring em on.

Bummer about the tire, good recovery though!!  Gives the trip a bit of a story line  ;D  Can't wait for more!!
