Spent an excellent day at Culdrose today with loads of activity. The Black Cats, RN Merlin and RNHF Seahawk each did a display, unfortunately it was quite a long way away from the viewing gallery.

We know you really mean Sea Hawk and it was just a typing error ;D
Anyway it is nice to see her back in the air. She was grounded for quite a while due to extensive heat damage in the engine bay. A large part of her had to be rebuilt by hand from scratch.

Yep, Seahawk!

This exact aircraft was restored at Culdrose from late 1976 to mid 1978, the 23rd May 1978 seeing the jet fly for the first time since 1962. Tomorrow marks 30 years, to the day, of her first flight after restoration.
