Just a couple shots of an Aeronca C-3 flying around my home airport.

And a random shot from my backyard.

Now that is very nice. It's a long time since I saw one of those. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Needs a shark moouth just forward and slightly above the gear. ;D ;) That would look so cool.

Sort of a bucktoothed grin... with a black pointy nose.  ;D Never seen one of those in the air before, but with fuel prices rising, we may see them re-manufactured and going for $100K a pop, like the 7AC.
Not sure if that's good or bad...  :-/
Anyway, it's a terrific little plane; glad to see it flying.

I didn't know you lived on an airport- lucky you!

Yep, FD04, or Leeward Air Ranch.
We actually own another C-3, but ours is black with yellow trim, as it should be. It's a fun airplane to fly, a bit underpowered, especially with two people in it, but is incredibly easy to land. Those balloon tires and long suspension mean that you could almost stall it five feet high, and not feel a thing.

EDIT: Just noticed that one doesn't have those long shock absorbers. Must be a later year than ours. I'll try to get some shots of ours up in a minute.

Here you go.

I noticed that too. I thought a shark mouth would work better. Hahaha ;D

I hope you don't mind me punching up the second shot a bit......it was quite dark on my screen, and you have so much more good detail which can be enjoyed.........
