My Nan is MAD about owls, she has crystal owls, teatowels, china owls.. the list goes on. It makes for easy Birthday/Christmas presents though. :) ;D

I love those eyes. I wish mine were as sharp as those......!
Talking about eyes....
Note that an Owl has eyes which look forward, (stereoscopic, like us), to be able to judge distance accurately...
I am always amazed how birds with eyes placed either side of their head (Sparrows, Starlings, etc) manage to accurately land on a tiny, waving branch in a big tree...!!!
