Quick trip to "Mizz Hippy"- pt 2 of 2
Had a window seat on the second return leg; here's some snaps from Charlotte.
There's a great spot off the main concourse where you can get an interesting angle of a parked plane- and lucky me, there was a fine US Airways liner in classic Piedmont livery just waiting to be photographed when I passed by the window. 8-)
My ride home: I think the FO was warming up his lunch in the sun.

Two extreme-zoom shots that are classic examples of why my messed-up viewfinder is so much fun: I often miss the most interesting parts until I open the file on my computer.
First, what I thought was just a mildly interesting 727... but wait a sec... ouch! what happened here?
And here I was just trying to get a composition of a plane on final over the museum hangar roof... didn't notice that magnificent DC-3 peeking over the knoll.
